Inbloom Greytown
Dahlia Tuber - Cafe au lait rose
This magnificent dinnerplate variety produces massive, fluffy, informal decorative blooms up to 25 cm wide. Each flower features layers of striking, iridescent soft pink petals that command attention both in the garden bed and in premium floral designs.
Planting:
• Plant tubers after your last frost in a sunny location (at least 6 hours per day)
• Space 45 cm apart,10-15cm deep and lye tuber on its side.
• Ensure soil has good drainage
• Provide support to help plants withstand wind
• Use a large pot for container planting to accommodate multiplying tubers
• Expect blooms mid-summer through autumn
• Dig up and store tubers during winter, or cut back and cover with heavy mulch to overwinter in the ground.
Every region within NZ offers different growing conditions. Check out what others are doing in your area on line.
Tubers:
Dahlia tubers grow to different sizes, therefore the tuber you receive mayn't look exactly like to one photographed. It will however have growth points (eyes) for your new flowers to grow from.
Damaged Policy:
If you receive your tuber and it has been damaged through transit, please send me an email with a photograph within 72 hours of receiving the tuber. I will endeavour to replace or refund depending on how much stock we have. We do pack tubers well packaged, however, sometimes if the boxes have been accidentally dropped through transit, damage may occur.
